I’m a dad, software engineer, photographer, and Phish enthusiast based in Fort Collins, Colorado. With over 5 years of experience building reliable systems and infrastructure, I’m passionate about enabling other developers to do their best work and empower them with an understanding of how their services are performing. I enjoy being able to impact the work others are doing and making them more effective.
Currently, I’m a Senior Site Reliability Engineer at Ibotta, where I help engineering teams build and maintain reliable services. I love working at the intersection of infrastructure and developer experience, and I’m always exploring new tools and technologies—especially in the AI and DevOps spaces. I’ve had the chance to build a git-ops based SLO provisioning system to standardize system reliability and make setting up additional objectives as simple as possible.
Personally, I spend my free time spinning up little side projects, tinkering with gadgets, and doing al sorts of things with my kids. During the summer, things get hectic with hikes, camping, and time on a local lake.
