AI
Current go-to for AI code agentic work. Currently pairing with copilot (see below) for relatively affordable AI code agentic work.
Currently paying the 12$ a month for access to Opus 4.5 (or Sonnet/Haiku for simpler tasks). Currently the cheapest way I've found to get good AI code work done.
A custom AI TUI to manage 1-to-6 AI agents in their own spaces.
Have used it in the past, it's great, but currently don't need the level of usage I can get for $20. So I'll pocket the $8. May pick it back up if I get Claude Pro for other reasons and will swap back over to Claude Code.
A $20 a month subscription to Claude Pro. I'm considering picking it up again for more usage and and clawdbot -> https://clawd.bot.
A way to run LMs on a Mac you own that's a little faster than barebones implementations.
An always-on AI agent that lives on your machine. Connects to Signal, iMessage, Discord — basically a personal assistant that can actually do things. Manages my calendar, checks my messages, deploys my site. It's the glue between all the other AI tools.
The OG way to run LMs on a Mac. I'll break it out if I'm playing around with LMs at a lower level.
CLI
A cli to move markdown files between my editor and apple notes for on the go editing.
The only python package manager to care about. Written in Rust its fast and efficient.
A fast, all-in-one JavaScript runtime and package manager.
A package manager for macOS.
A modern shell that has a lot of sane customization options out of the box.
I'm sure JJ is cool, but my brain can't grok how to use it with a normal development workflow of main -> FEAT -> main
